Wurtele Thrust Stage tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a theater experience that pulls you right into the action? The Wurtele Thrust Stage at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis is just the place. This space isn’t your typical theater setup; it’s a thrust stage that juts out into the audience, making you feel like you’re part of the story. I mean, I’ve seen shows here where the intimacy really amps up the emotional punch, you’re almost nose-to-nose with the actors. The stage has hosted a wild variety of productions, from the high-energy spectacle of The Lion King back in 2017 to bold, inclusive shows like the 2026 series celebrating Black playwrights. The vibe is super personal because the audience surrounds the stage on three sides, and they often toss in live music or interactive elements that make each performance memorable. Planning your visit? Just punch 'Guthrie' into your route app and follow that iconic crossing right to the theater. Want the best seats? The interactive seating chart is your friend, whether you’re after front-row thrills, VIP sections for a posh night out, or budget-friendly options. Whatever you choose, trust me, it’s theater at its finest. Don’t miss out, check the ticket page for all the upcoming shows and snag your seats early. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
